The University of Virginia is holding an open house at its School of Engineering March 17th. The University's professor Peter Norton visited the Newsplex to speak about the open house. The event is for anyone who is interested in visiting the school. Visitors will be able to speak with staff and students and take a tour of the school and its laboratories.
"If you go to Uva's Engineering School there is a lot of opportunities for you to do some hands on things that make a difference and help people with their day to day lives," said Norton.
Norton says there are many fields you can go into with a Engineering degree such as bio-medical or the businesses side of engineering.
