The Fluvanna Flucos have finished 3-7 in each of the last two seasons. This year, they are determined to improve under the direction of first-year head coach Jason Barnett.

Barnett was defensive coordinator for the Flucos last year and says that has made for an easy transition to head coach. He's also been a hit with the players because of the energy and enthusiasm he brings to practice on a daily basis.

The 2010 Flucos are a relatively young team, with only three returning starters on offense and five returning starters on defense. Despite their relative youth, the Flucos are optimistic about the upcoming season. One of the themes for 2010 is "playing for 11," meaning that all 11 guys on the field are playing to get to that 11th game (playoff game).

Fluvanna is a great team and I wish the coach the best of luck but he needs to pick a side for T.J. Dudley.. either he plays offense or defense but he cannot play both! The boy is awesome but he cannot do it all, by the end of the game he is exhausted and exhaustion causes injuries as seen by tonights game!
