2009 was a disappointing season in Orange. The Hornets fell well short of expectations, finishing the year with a record of 4-6.
On the bright side, most of the starters on last year's team were juniors. Now they are back for their senior seasons with a year of experience to build on. The Orange seniors say that experience will help the team tremendously because now they know what to expect in game situations. They're also familiar with what it takes to be a top notch team in the Jefferson District.
Offensively, Orange figures to have one of the top passing games in the Jefferson District. Senior quarterback Cameron Hughes returns for his second year under center, and he has plenty of experienced receivers in Amir Waller, Tyler Seal and Jamal Hunter.
Next season Orange will move up to AAA, so the Hornets are hoping to make some noise in their final year in the Jefferson District. Click the above link for more on the 2010 Orange football team.
