The Region II quarterfinal football game scheduled for Friday between Western Albemarle and Skyline has been postponed until Saturday at 1:00 pm. The site of that game has also been moved to Monticello, as conditions are expected to be better on the turf field. The Warriors and Hawks were set to kickoff Friday at 7:30, but rain that has drenched the area for the last three days has caused the postponement.

The Warriors are 9-1 on the season and are the number three seed in Region II, while Skyline is 6-4 on the year and enters as the number six seed. Western is coming off its first loss of the season last Friday at Goochland.

As for the Bulldogs, their match up with Millbrook has been moved to the Monticello turf field and will take place Friday at 7:30 pm. We will keep you updated on more news throughout the day.
