William Monroe Senior running back Doug Sizemore was named the Falcon Club Player of the Week.

Sizemore scored four touchdowns and had 183 yards rushing in Monroe's 67-21 win over backyard rival Madison County last Friday night.

The Green Dragons are now 5-2 on the season.

"It's great seeing the change coming from my Freshman year. I've been around this program seeing some things with this program going through its bad times so now it just feels good seeing it come out of the darkness into the glory," Sizemore said.

"It's exciting for us, particularly since it hasn't happened around here for twenty years so it's a big deal for us," Monroe coach Mark Sanford said.
