McDonnell Updates Snow State of Emergency

Gov. Bob McDonnell has updated the State of Emergency he declared last Wednesday ahead of the weekend's snowstorm. The announcement comes before the state is slated to receive additional snowfall accumulation from a passing storm Tuesday into Wednesday.

Parking Equipment Freezes after Snow

Va. Drivers Would Have to Use Hands-free Devices

Last Updated: 9:29 AM 02/09/10 - The Senate passed a bill Monday that could ban cell phone use by drivers, unless they use a hands-free device. Starting July 1, drivers using cell phones without a hands-free hookup could face fines between $20 and $50. (Full Story)

VDOT: Plow Response Times Slow for Subdivision Streets
