The Fluvanna County Board of Supervisors and School Board will meet Wednesday night to discuss plans for a $70 Million high school.
Fluvanna has seen a lot a growth in the past few years.
Last year both groups approved plans for a new high school; the current one was built back in the 1970s.
The only thing prolonging any sort of ground breaking is the expected price tag of this project.
At first the plan for the new high school capped off around $50 Million, today it's more like $70 million.
the county superintendent says, it's a lot, but the plan is worth the money.
"Time is money in this issue. As we progress and postpone this, the opening date which we hoped was going to be 2010, 2011 continues to get pushed back," said Superintendent Thomas Smith.
