Pancakes for Parkinson's is a UVa student volunteer organization. Saturday they served up free flap jacks to thousands on the lawn.

They also collected donations and made cards for patients with the disease.

Organizers hope to raise $40,000 to donate to the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research.

This is the fourth annual fundraiser. In its first three years, the organization raised nearly $60,000.
