Virginia has launched a new travel website, located at www.virginia.org/fall.

The website features fall getaway trips, wineries, scenic drives, historic inns, and small towns.

According to a recent survey conducted for the Travel Guard North America, travel is becoming more popular with couples especially those from the Baby Boomer generation.

The site serves as a time saving and convenient source for trip planning in Virginia.

Virginia is becoming known as a top wine travel destination. The website highlights the 160 wineries and 16 wine trails in Virginia.

In addition, the site outlines 20 various routes which cover the 2,500 miles of scenic drives throughout the state.

Another feature, entitled the Fall Foliage Report, gives regular updates on where colors are peaking at parks, vistas, and overlooks across the state.
