Self-titled defenders of the environment held a rally on the Downtown Mall in Charlottesville Thursday afternoon as "The Job's Not Done" Bus Tour made a stop in town to bring awareness to clear energy jobs.
The Charlottesville stop is one of 30 stops in 17 states that the bus has made between August 16 and September 3. The bus started its cross-country tour in Carson, California and will end it Friday in Richmond.
The nationwide tour urges action on comprehensive clean energy climate change legislation that organizers say could help create up to 50,000 jobs in the Commonwealth.
The bus tour features clean energy workers, union members and environmentalists urging Senate action on job-creating, clean energy legislation. The tour is organized by the BlueGreen Alliance, a national, strategic partnership of labor unions and environmental organizations working to expand the number and quality of green jobs in the United States.

Maybe those folks would be interested in buying my piece of mountain top land in Greenbrier Co. WV which I had planned on retiring to. It now has a great view of 100 turbines slowly spinning in the breeze. They can also admire the 100 red beacons flashing away in unison at night. They totally shattered our view and I know they don't give a @#$% but maybe someday someone else will take away something they worked extremely hard for to attain. If we don't watch out those worthless turbines will be marring a mountain top near you soon all in the name of making someone else rich and making a bunch of narrow minded individuals feel good about themselves and their cause which will not make any difference for the better.
So go ahead and create your overpaid "green" jobs that causes energy to skyrocket that causes businesses to jack up prices to compensate for the increased energy costs and labor costs as their employees try and keep up with th resuliting inflation. I guess the earth cools down when china realizes they won't get the money we borrowed for this back and shuts off the funds to keep things going and the US economy collapses completely. I wonder hw much energy that bus wastes.
