UPDATE: Suspect, Victim Identified in Charlottesville Fatal Stabbing
Charlottesville Police have made an arrest in Friday night's fatal stabbing of a woman in her apartment. Police have arrested 47-year-old Barry Blake Bowles of Charlottesville. Bowles is charged with the first-degree murder of Rachel Ann Bowles.

Charlottesville Police have made an arrest in Friday night's fatal stabbing of a woman in her apartment.
Police have arrested 47-year-old Barry Blake Bowles of Charlottesville. Bowles is charged with the first-degree murder of Rachel Ann Bowles.
Charlottesville police responded to a report of a domestic disorder shortly after 8:30 p.m. Friday night at the intersection of Sixth Street Southeast and Palatine Avenue. The officers were told on arrival that the couple in Apartment B had been fighting.
Upon entering the apartment, police found Rachel Bowles dead on the floor. After a short search, police found Barry Bowles in the area.
Witnesses tell CBS19 they believe the couple is married and said there has been a history of domestic disputes at that residence. Witnesses also reported hearing sounds of glass breaking and screaming coming from the home.
Charlottesville Spokesperson Ric Barrick says this is the second homicide in the city this year.
Barry Bowles is being held at the Albemarle-Charlottesville Regional Jail.
