Authorities say a Maryland pilot walked away uninjured from an emergency landing at Cape Henry Collegiate School in Virginia Beach.

Virginia Beach Fire Department Battalion Chief Kenneth Pravetz told the Virginian Pilot that the Cessna came down on the school's athletic field about 1:45 p.m. Saturday.

Pravetz says the plane overturned, but the pilot was checked at the scene and wasn't injured.

While the Virginia State Police are investigating, Pravetz says
the pilot is not being charged.
