A building on University of Virginia grounds was evacuated Sunday night after reports of a suspicious smell.

At around 6:30 pm, Charlottesville firefighters responded to a call about strong smoke and a strange odor coming from the chemistry building on UVa grounds.

As a precaution, firefighters evacuated the labs as they searched for the source of the smoke.

No one was hurt.
