6 Injured in 3 Vehicle Crash on Route 15 in Fluvanna
Six people were injured in a three-vehicle crash Thursday morning along Route 15 between Fluvanna County Middle School and Fluvanna County High School.

Six people were transported to the University of Virginia Medical Center Thursday morning following a three-vehicle crash on Route 15 between Fluvanna County Middle School and Fluvanna County High School.

Virginia State Trooper Burke says of the six injured, there only appears to be one person seriously injured in the crash.

Police say the accident began when one car rear-ended another on Route 15 around 8:15am. Two of the three vehicles involved in the crash.

Route 15 was shut down in both directions in the area of the high school for about 45 minutes, but has since re-opened.

No high school students were involved.

Police say no citations have been issued at this time.
