Sam's Club Recalls Frozen Patties After E.Coli Outbreak

October 7, 2007

Another E.Coli outbreak has hit a wholesale supermarket chain.

Sam's Club is pulling frozen ground beef patties, produced by Cargill Incorporated, from its shelves nationwide.

Health officials say four cases of E.Coli have developed from the frozen meat patties.

The product is sold under the name American Chef's Selection angus beef patties and were purchased in late August and early September.

Sam's Club is asking people to return unopened packages or simply throw them out.
