Conventions Being Held For Virginia's 1st Congressional District

Democrats and Republicans will be holding conventions this weekend to choose nominees for the 1st Congressional District seat in Congress left open by the death of Republican Jo Ann Davis.

At least 13 people, 11 Republicans and two Democrats, are in
the running.

The Democrats will hold their convention in Williamsburg on Saturday, while the Republicans will meet in Caroline County. The general election will be held December 11th.
