We're now looking at his eating habits, which may be the most difficult thing for him to change.

"Sweets, desserts, and chocolate chip cookies," said Andy's wife, Julie. "Anything that he can grab quick that's like a sweet fix."

Without a doubt, Andy Huffmyer definitely has a sweet tooth.

Anything baked and sugary is his weakness, and could be his downfall while training for the triathlon.

Julie has been helping Andy get on the right track. She's slacked off in baking all those sweet treats and together, they've been making healthier, more nutritious meals.

"We're trying to eat more vegetables and more salads," said Julie.

Something else Andy is improving on, portion size.

"Sometimes just going back to a very simple, small serving of a food will help you save calories," said Dietician Rita Smith.

"He's been very careful with his portion size and how much he's eating and only eating 1 serving of something and maybe using a smaller plate actually to eat it on, " said Julie.

Andy has actually been doing really well. Since he started the routine about a month ago, he's lost 10 pounds.
