The Marine from Stuart's Draft who was killed in Iraq last week was laid to rest Monday, February 7th in Arlington National Cemetery.
A memorial service was held Sunday, February 6th at Calvary United
Methodist Church for 19-year-old Lance Corporal Jason Redifer. He died January 31st when the vehicle he was riding in struck an explosive device.
The Reverend David Burch described Redifer's final mission in
Iraq as "a painful journey and a testimony of faith.''
Redifer's mother said he was scheduled to return home from Iraq
next week.
