People are hitting the stores hard getting some last minute things before things get messy this weekend.
Managers at Martin's Hardware Store in Charlottesville say that people usually wait until the last minute, which is why they saw a mad rush for snow supplies on Friday.
But, they say it's better to be safe than sorry, so any supplies you may need should be bought before its too late.
"We've seen quite a few coming in here and getting some snow shovels, a few have been getting sleds and stuff like that. I just finished loading for bags of 50 pound rock salt which has been the most popular item," said Chris Davis an employee at the store.
Don't forget, Charlottesville residents are asked to clean their sidewalks within twelve hours of a storm.
