Police continue to investigate Monday's murder on Free Bridge Lane in Albemarle County. The body of Anthony Johnson was found Monday morning, February 21st in the Pantops area. CBS 19/ABC 16 spoke with his family who still can't believe what happened to the person they call a "nice kid."

The Johnson family gathered at their home in Cumberland County to begin funeral arrangements still in shock over the murder of 22-year-old Anthony.

"Yesterday when I heard they news, I just couldn't imagine that somebody, whatever they had done to him, could do it to him," said Anthony's aunt Catherine Marie Johnson. She said Anthony, or "Bunny" as they called him, was like a son to her.

For the past five months Anthony was working for a Charlottesville construction company, while bouncing around between friends' houses. During this time, police say he had a few run-ins with the law. But his family remembers him fondly.

"He was a good kid," remembered Johnson. "He lived with me for a while and he was always had respect for people, he was never a troublemaker."

As Anthony's family gathered they shared memories of him. They said he loved to attend his church, enjoyed basketball, and played football on the Cumberland High School team.

He also loved his car. "He don't care if there was mud outside or rain, he had to keep that car clean," said Johnson. "He loved things that was neat and clean. He could clean the house like a woman."

While Anthony's body is still in Richmond pending investigation, the family is waiting patiently for answers. "Whoever did this to them, all I can say is, I can't wait until justice is served," said Johnson.
