After nearly two years of serving Charlottesville locals and visitors, the 12th Street Tap House has closed.
The restaurant, bar and culture cove is located on West Main Street in Charlottesville. It was known for its 'chill' atmosphere and chilled brews.
The venue provided performance space for many local artists, musicians and comedians.
Performers said they enjoyed working there, "It was really great to work there. They were really supportive of us and we were supportive of them," said Jim Zarling of the Charlottesville Comedy Roundtable.
