Investigators are still awaiting lab results in the case against the man charged in Charlottesville's first murder.

The delay forced February 24th's preliminary hearing for 29-year-old Joshua Zimmerman to be continued until March 31.

Zimmerman is accused in the stabbing death of 48-year-old Artis Wayne Keaton. It happened January 24th outside the B & R market on Avon Street. Prosecutors are awaiting Keaton's autopsy results so they can move forward with the case.
