Racial Intolerance Scholarship Program

The Virginia General Assembly is offering a scholarship program for people who were enrolled in public schools between 1954 and 1964 that were closed due to racial intolerance.

The scholarship may be used to pay tuition at public schools and colleges, and the application can be picked up at the city manager’s office at city hall.

You'll have to hurry, however, the application deadline is March 1st.
