Fight Leaves Two Women Injured

Charlottesville police say two women were fighting over a man on Wednesday, March 2nd, and the fight escalated when their friends got involved.

It started around 5:30 p.m. when a woman driving a car pulled a knife and slashed the other woman on the wrist.

As another friend was trying to pull the knife away, the driver allegedly sped off, dragging the woman for a short distance.

There have been no arrests in this incident and the two women were treated and released from UVa Hospital.
