Two people were transported to the hospital after their car slammed into an office building on East High Street on Wednesday, March 2nd.
Charlottesville Police say a man was driving with his son, who was recovering from hand surgery. Suddenly, he thought his son may have been having a seizure and tried to pull over.
Instead of stepping on the breaks, the man pumped the gas pedal, hitting the side of an office building and then running into the side of a second office building.
Officials say there was significant structural damage to the building. No word on who will have to foot the bill.
