CARS is shooting for $400,000 to support the all volunteer squad. So far, they've raised about $300,000. The donations pay for everyday operational items such as medical supplies and gas.
"We thank the community so much for everything they've already done, but we still have a ways to go and if any people in the community can just reach down just a little bit deeper and help us a little bit more, it'll be really nice," said Rodney Thomas, CARS Fundrive Chairman.
CARS is hoping to reach their goal by the end of January.
