A state senator from our area has made it official. He is running for lieutenant governor. Senator Emmett Hanger announced his candidacy on Monday, March 14th.
The senator was just in Albemarle County last week talking about the last legislative session. He said Monday that, if elected, he will be a leader on education and transportation issues while supporting faith and family.
Republican state Senator Bill Bolling will be in Charlottesville to announce his candidacy for lieutenant governor on Tuesday, March 15th.
