The School Board for Albemarle County Schools met on Thursday, January 27th as planned.
Some topics up for discussion were the approval of the Superintendent's raise in salary, approval of the school calendar changes including snow days along with teacher planning days, and land acquisition for two news schools.
All items were passed by the board-members.
The school board also acknowledged a plan to be presented to the public on the county's efforts to redistrict specific schools which will be announced on February 8th, 2005.
