Two Fluvanna Boards Set To Discuss School Construction

January 22, 2007

Wednesday afternoon there will be a joint meeting between the school board and the board of supervisors in Fluvanna County.

They will be discussing important issues that the school system is facing, including construction of a new multi-million dollar county high school.

Back in October the board of supervisors gave permission to go ahead with further design of a new high school and now the school board is ready to get started.

"The architects have put some more schematics together in terms of how the building will look, the lay of the land, and we will be showing that to both boards tomorrow," said Dr. Thomas Smith, school Superintendent.

The work session is open to the general public and it starts at 3pm in the historic court house.
