The trial of the man accused of being the Route 29 stalker was postponed by a Prince William County judge on Tuesday, April 5.
Darrell Rice was scheduled to start his trial April 18 in connection with the abduction and attack of Carmelita Shomo in February of 1996.
Prosecutors think Rice convinced more than a dozen women to stop in the corridor along U.S. Route 29 by convincing them there was something wrong with their vehicles.
