General Assembly Approves Many Of Gov. Warner's Amendments

Governor Mark Warner says he is pleased with a special one day session of the Virginia General Assembly.

On April 6, legislators approved pay raises for State Troopers, Capitol Police and Sheriff's Deputies. They also approved life insurance coverage for Virginia National Guard members and expanded school breakfast options for school kids.

All in all, lawmakers approved most of the Governor's amendments.
