Tree Accident Leaves Man Dead

An accident in Albemarle County left one person dead on Thursday, April 7. Police say a man working for a logging company was removing some trees from a home on Dick Woods Road when a tree fell on a piece of equipment.

The man operating the machine was killed. He is identified as 30-year-old Wesley Gibson of Albemarle County.
