Eastville Soldier Killed In Iraq

The Department of Defense announced the death of an Eastville, Virginia soldier who was supporting Operation Iraqi Freedom.

Sgt. Tromaine K. Toy, Sr., of Eastville, Va. died April 16 in Ar Ramadi, Iraq, while conducting combat operations. He was 24.

Sgt. Toy, Sr. was assigned to the 2nd Battalion, 17th Field Artillery Regiment, 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 2nd Infantry Division, from Camp Hovey, Korea.
