Bowerman Will Not Seek Re-Election

Some surprising news from one county board member occurred during the Albemarle County Board of Supervisors meeting on Wednesday, April 20. After 26 years serving the community, David Bowerman has announced he would not seek re-election at the end of his current term. Bowerman was a supervisor representing the Rio District.
"It really is with a large degree of sadness that I did announce my intent not to run again," said Bowerman
Bowerman has not yet said who he will support to take his seat.
