For the Murphy family, there have been good days and bad days.

But after two weeks, Alexis Murphy's great aunt feels that she is coming home soon. And as the FBI works on what Trina Murphy thinks is a major tip, she says it's only a matter of time.

"I've woke up many nights hearing her scoot her slippers across the floor. Her presence is still very much here. That's why I know she's alive," Trina Murphy says outside her home in Shipman with lots of family members inside.

"I'm feeling good today. I am. I am confident they are gonna find her and we're gonna bring her home."

The Murphys are sticking together this weekend as they do every single day hoping and praying Alexis will be found. But the world is still turning and Alexis' volleyball team competed in its first game of the season on Saturday without number nine.

"Even the opposing teams had pink ribbons in their hair. So, that solidarity just again the outpouring of love and support is so important to us right now," she said.

Since Alexis Murphy's story was picked up by the national media this week, new tips have been pouring in and one in particular, Trina says, gives her the sense that a big moment is coming soon.

"People are remembering things that they saw that are going to be really instrumental in bringing her home."

Abduction suspect Randy Allen Taylor is behind bars waiting on Thursday's bond hearing in Nelson County. Trina says she knows he took her niece but she also knows, Alexis is okay.

"As long as her mom tells me she's alive, then she's alive because her mother would know."

Taylor's bond hearing is at 1 p.m. at the Nelson County Courthouse.
