25th District Gets First Candidate

Delegate Steve Landes announced as the only republican candidate for the Virginia House of Delegates representing the 25th district. Landes has been in the house since 1995. This time he says he will be focusing on three key issues: long-term care, education, and the local and state economy.
"Anytime you have a growing community that's great, but you also have to have a growing tax base and I know all localities try want to try to recruit those kinds of businesses that fit in well," said Landes.
He especially plans to target rural areas, such as the ones he represents.
