The results of last month's Mary Chapin Carpenter benefit concert are in. She raised more than $175,000 for the UVA Cancer Center, topping her cancer benefit concert in 2001.
The money will go toward patient education and support services. These programs assist patients physically, emotionally, and psychologically through their battle with cancer.
