Witnesses said the driver of a 2003 Saturn Ion lost control on I-64 West near the Shadwell exit and veered off the left shoulder.
The car flipped a few times and came to rest on its four wheels. The driver was rushed to UVa Medical Center with minor injuries. Police are still unsure what caused the woman to lose control.
