Local Legal Firms Look Toward Food Frenzy

February 13, 2008

It's time once again for the "Legal Food Frenzy." This year Attorney General Bob McDonnell wants state law firms to collect one million pounds of food for food banks.

The drive begins in March. Last year, 175 firms competed and collectively gathered 679,000 pounds of goods.

"It's typically a slow time of year so this is a way to help them get through that and it's a great way for law firms to participate and help meet that goal" said Rusty Schundler of Mcguire-Woods Law Firm.

More information will be given out to local law firms in the coming weeks.
