On May 10th, 1963, The Rolling Stones began their first recording session in London for Decca Records, and on May 10th, 2005 The Rolling Stones announced plans to play Charlottesville.
The legendary rock band announced today they were kicking off a new world tour with a stop in Charlottesville. The group made the announcement earlier today at New York's Julliard music school.
The tour will coincide with a new album do out in late June and on sale when the tour is set to start in August.
