The University of Virginia's Darden School announced it's joining forces with Yale University Press to develop and publish business books.

The Innovation & Entrepreneurship Series will draw from Darden's Batten Institute--a think tank devoted to the subject. The series will be geared towards academics as well as those already in the business field. UVA officials said the partnership is a great step for Darden.

"This partnership is an excellent opportunity for the Darden School to showcase the excellent research that takes place here with all of our faculty and especially with the Batten Institute," said Director of Darden Business Publishing, Kathie Amato.

Darden officials plan to publish two books every year as part of the series. The first two titles and authors will be announced within the next coming weeks.
