Robber Strikes at Taco Bell

May 23, 2005:

Police are looking into the latest in a string of robberies that have targeted several local stores and gas stations. The latest incident happened at the Taco Bell on Riverbend Drive in the Pantops area.

Police say early Sunday morning a gunman walked in and demanded cash from the register. The suspect got away with an unreported amount of cash. Police are investigating whether or not the robbery is linked to others in the area.
