Fire Destroys Office

Fire officials are investigating an early morning fire that destroyed an office in Albemarle County.

The fire happened broke out around 6 a.m. Tuesday morning inside of an office complex on Berkmar Drive. A maintenance worker called 911 after smelling smoke.

Officials believe an electric fan may to be blame. Damages are estimated at around $10,000. No one was injured.
