For those who like to hit the links from time to time, you'll be happy to know there's a new golf course in the area. Over 100 golfers showed up for the opening round at the Old Trail Golf Club in Crozet. The public course took four years to build. The club's owners hope it will offer a variety to those looking to tee-off.
"This is kind of a labor of love for everyone involved and we're all thrilled," said General Manger Seth VanHall.
The golf course will open officially to the public on Friday, May 27.
