You have to be daring to air your dirty laundry on national TV, and even more daring to do it in front of TV toughest no-nonsense judge. But Rebecca Snow of Charlottesville took that chance and brought her legal problems to Judge Judy.

Albemarle County resident Rebecca Snow had a problem.

"He came to ask me for money to put a storage unit in my name so his wife wouldn't know where his stuff was. I did that and I kept asking him to pay me and he never would pay me," said Snow who was dating a man with plans to separate from his wife.

Soon after, the man and his wife reconciled and Snow was left paying for a storage unit with her ex's belongings inside. She says he would not pay her back.

So Snow went to "Judge Judy" or actually they came to her, asking her to put her case, that she had filed in Albemarle County Court, on the show. She agreed because they gave her an offer she couldn't refuse.

"I had never been on a plane before. I had never been to California. I figured even if I had not gotten my money back at least I got a trip to California," she said.

She received a two-day all-expenses paid trip out to L.A. for a taping that took only a half hour. And she says that meeting the fiery "Judge Judy" wasn't so bad.

"I had heard she was mean, but she was very nice to us. And she is a very very petite lady," shared the plaintiff.

The case was settled on TV, but the relationship between Snow and her ex, who now lives in Crozet, was not.

"I haven't spoken to him since," she said. "We don't communicate."

Either way, Snow got her money, a free trip, and if Judge Judy asked her to come back, she would, "in a minute."

Case closed.

Snow also told the Newsplex that she did call her ex today to tell him that she was going to be on TV.
