With elections less than a week away, city officials are making sure everything runs smoothly. Today, tests were performed on the mobile ballot boxes, which run the machines. The checks are done before each election to make sure every machine is accurate and user friendly.
"We're pleased with how easy this is and with how the citizens of Charlottesville who actually come out and vote on election day, how happy they are with this system," said Sheri Iachetta, General Registrar for the City of Charlottesville.
The primary elections will take place on Tuesday, June 14.
