Nearly three hundred cub scouts have been at Chris Greene Lake Park the past three days for the Monticello Cub Scout District Day Camp.

Boys, ages eight to eleven, have been fishing, swimming, building birdhouses, shooting BB guns, and dissecting owl pellets. Thursday is the last day of the camp, and most will be sad to leave tomorrow.

"They're having a blast. Every afternoon I'm asking them what they like the best. By tomorrow they are not going to want to go," said camp director Deanna Nolan. "When I say that it is our last day of camp, everyone is going to be really sad because they are just having a wonderful time."

There are also 160 people volunteering to help out with the camp, and they will be sad to go as well.
