Two School Buses And Car Collide In Harrisonburg

About 20 people were hurt, none seriously, when two school buses and a car collided in a Harrisonburg intersection. Harrisonburg Police Sergeant R.L. Metcalf said the 7 a.m.

Tuesday crash happened when a school bus and a car ran into another school bus. One bus was carrying middle school students and the other was transporting high schoolers.

He said that "about 20" people were taken to the hospital, including the driver of the car, but there were no major injuries. Metcalf said some parents might decide to take their child to get checked out as a precaution.

Metcalf said the investigation was still under way and no charges had been filed as of midday Tuesday.
