Albemarle Man Shot in Stomach

An Albemarle County man is recovering from a gunshot wound to the stomach.

At midnight Sunday night, police responded to gun shots fired during an argument between a man and woman on Irish Road.

Thomas Phillip Woody, Jr. was rushed by Pegasus helicopter to UVA Medical Center. No charges have been filed, however police are still investigating.
