A mechanical problem yesterday at the Charlottesville Ice Park has resulted in it's closure.
The closure could quite possibly last the rest of the month.
The ice park on the downtown mall had planned to close for a couple of weeks for repairs, but when the ice melted and pulled away from the boards a little early, the park decided to get the repairs done now.
